Multiboot on RAID0 array

Which OSes did you have in mind? Motherboard-controller raid 0 is generally software-based ("fakeraid" in Linux terms) so Linux doesn't recognize the manufacturer-specific raid layout. This means Windows and Linux are generally mutually exclusive with motherboard raid.

However, you could put a Linux partition on one drive and a Windows partition on the other, then data partitions for the two OSes on the other parts of the drives:
Code:
Drive 1: WS WS WS LD LD LD LD LD LD
Drive 2: LS LS LS WD WD WD WD WD WD

I was planning on one for 64-bit xp and one for 64-bit Vista. Current MOBO in sig using ULi RAID controller.

That should be fine, provided there are drivers for both OSes. Why are you planning on using raid 0?

There is a pretty consistent RAID issue with my mobo and on the new DFI forum there may have been a fix figured out. I wanted to try it and contribute the results. I thought adding a dual boot would throw a monkey wrench to mix things up.
