I'm running 2 970s ssc in sli, I would like advice on setting up 3 monitors. My budget is $500, I play a lot of different types of games fps, adventure, simulation and rts.
 
I'd rather get one quality 27" 1440p IPS display instead, or save up for LG 34UM95. I just don't see the appeal of a $500 multi monitor setup.
With $500 you are basically getting 3x very low quality, bottom of the barrel 1080p panels, you can find some really cheap 1080p IPS monitors out there, but I don't think they really worth the money. Even a u2414h, riddled with quality control fuck ups is $270 on amazon, this is as low as you would want to go with a monitor.
