I'm connecting to the internet through a Linksys router configured to use pppoe. The mtu on the router has been set to 1492, as indicated in speedguide.net. Should I configure my PCs with the same mtu or should I keep it at 1500?
I think 1492 is where is should be, 1500 may cause packet fragmentation ( I could be making shit up ). Even if it does tho, I doubt you'd see a difference.
