It's a great little board with nice features, but one glaring problem has me on the phone with newegg considering refund options: No ACC. That's right, can't unlock cores with this things. This forum seems to be the best place to find people who know a lot of stuff about bios issues.. is there any way to unlock the core without ACC? Could i perhaps install a bios that has ACC in it and do it that way, or am i just better off buying a new motherboard?

i seen in another forum someone saying the samething. i'll look futher into it and see what i come up with.

yeah, i was disappointed.. it's got some wicked cool overclocking controls and so on but.. blah. I'm RMAing the thing and getting an ASUS.

can't go wrong with asus. they're very fast with bios updates to. and there new asus update tool rocks,no more flash drives, lol. good luck and i hope to see your results.

Well, the AMD SB850 does not offer ACC function but individual motherboard companies will have their own core enabler BIOS fix. Check with each motherboard company for full specs.

so far it seems that Asus is the only one with a "core unlocker".....possibly future revisions of the Gigabyte and MSI boards will have unlock options
