The crew at Overclockers Club just published a review of the MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming motherboard today.

Stock performance was impressive across the board when compared to the Intel solution in just about every single test, showing how well the clock speeds are dynamically managed to deliver higher performance metrics. Overclocking is a way to further drive improved performance and the Z87-GD65 is no slouch in this department, able to easily take my Core i7 4770K up to its limits with no problems.

Got mine a few days ago. so far so good. very stable it looks great and the bios well polished. It's my first non asus board.

Can you guys please report back what you think of the new onboard Audio setup of these boards?

Its just ok. The software drivers kinda suck, and the stupid hic-up at startup and shutdown is kind of annoying.

I wish more companies would just use the creative solution.

No complaints about the onboard audio, but I switched over to my modded X-Fi Titanium in very short order.
Edit : N00bs - why can't reviewers use the updated version of CPU-Z from the Haswell reviewer's kit (1.64.2) that shows the correct Vcore?!

MicroCenter has this board for $139 with purchase of a 4770k at $279.

Would you guys recommend this MSI board or the [H]ardOCP gold rated Asus Z87-A motherboard for $109 with the same CPU purchase?

My local Microcenter are doing a 4670k + this motherboard for $320 including tax - a good deal? I'm looking for a good Haswell combo to upgrade from my i7 920 / Asus P6T Deluxe V2. Is this the best budget Haswell board for gaming?
