So I'm building my new computer and I proceed to install the video card. I put it in the PCI x16 slot and I'm like WTF!!! The card doesnt fit all the way do in the slot. The screw in bracket keeps it from going down any further. I then noticed on my A8N-SLI that the x16 slots are a little more shallow than the traditional PCI slots. In addition my BIOS won't post. I'm wondering if it has to do with the fit in the slot? When I turn the computer on, all the fans work properly, but I get no screen and hear 2 short beeps followed by a long one. Has anyone problems with this before? My specs are bellow.
ASUS A8N-SLI
A64 3000+ Venice
Raptor 74 gb HD
MSI Radeon X800
