MSI vs. ASUS?

Hi guys,
I'm looking for the best 680 card.

I've narrowed it down to these two options:

1) MSI Lightning 680 2GB

or the

2) ASUS GTX 680 Direct CUII TOP.

I will be gaming on one 2560x1440 monitor.

Thanks in advance!

P.S. No AMD please!! :p
 
MSI Lightning is the best GTX 680. you can get the unlocked voltage LN2 BIOS and easily overclock to 1.35 - 1.4 ghz. the asus probably has the quietest cooling solution.
 
Yep I second the MSI.

Plus I just had a bad RMA experience where they promised to replace a card without a cooler, in writing, twice, but just decided screw you we're not going to after I sent it in and spent hours on hold. The whole process took a month and in the end they just flip flopped and said f u.

Msi lightnings are great but it's always a silicon lottery.
 
Just out of curiosity I'm guessing you aren't interested in AMD? The 7970 on top of being faster than a 680 also has 3GB of RAM...for that resolution the more RAM the better I say!

Maybe he/she is looking for attention and this is the only place they can get it?

This might be also a vendor posing as someone that needs help or someone doing market research.
 
He doesn't reply to any of his threads either. Every single one of his posts start with "hi guys" because they are the start of a thread.
