MSI says strange things about AMD

I think it is just one employee, frustrated by the poor lineup of AMD GPUs. It is not an "official" statement.
 
Specially talking about India (it's MSI India). Where AMD it's more expensive than Nvidia in basically all performance brackets, so for that market AMD may be considered subpar, there's no reason there to consider AMD beyond brand loyalty.

People have to remember that all markets are not equal to north-America.

That MSI social media employee statement even being incorrectly said in public and not an official MSI statement, may just be an opinion of the gpu market there..
