Has anyone here dealt with this motherboard before?
I was able to get my q6600 up to 3.4Ghz on my old DFI Blood-iron motherboard with a slight voltage tweak and was able to clock it up to 3.0 without changing a single setting in the bios other than the FSB (333x9).
With this MSI board, I can't even get the thing stable at 3.0
I've tried increasing the voltages until it boots into windows (with everything set to auto, it would BSOD while windows was loading), but every time I try running prime, it crashes to a black screen almost instantly. I'm running, except for the mobo, the same system that's in my signature.
I wish I did a little more research about this board before swapping it out. It looks like these things aren't the best overclockers around, but I'll be pretty disappointed if I can't even clock this thing up to 3.0
Has anyone here run a Q6600 on one? what settings did you use and for what kind of OC?
