IPS and 60 Hz, not very fast for a gamin' monitor apparently these days?

"Lastly, it is possible that the CES Award winning MSI Optix MAG161 and this MSI Optix MAG161V are different products - thus explaining the refresh rate description confusion. If I was running the marketing department I wouldn't try and retail two very different products that are differentiated by a single letter in a code string.

The MSI Optix MAG161V portable monitor is now listed on Newegg for US$250."

How could they call that a gaming monitor? I have no problem with IPS/60 but that is the exact definition of not a gaming monitor these days. Marketing is just strange at times.

I think "gameable" is what they're going for. I had an old portable AOC monitor, it had a refresh rate of like 5hz. 60hz is definitely playable vs that old thing!

Looks like a surface pro minus keyboard. At least it doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
