Specs:
Msi Nforce4 Ultra
AMD64 3500+ (90 nm)
2X512 corsair low latency ram (twin pack for dual channel)
stock heatsink (it keeps it around 30 idle)
So, my cpu is a stock 2.2 ghz, 11x 200hz.
When I overclock anything above an additional 100 hz, system crashes. (2.3 ghz).
Id like to see this cpu hit 2.5+, but the MSI bios is just really confusing. That and Im not too sure the sensors are reading the temp right (stock I see 29C idle load 38C). What is causing my system to lock, the cpu overheating... or a memory issue? I wish I wasn't so new at this. I dont trust the msi "dynamic OC" because it upps the voltage more then it should for small.. small gains.
