MSI Lightning 6970 not displaying properly

So I just bought an msi lightning 6970 and put it in my computer right but no that i installed the catalyst software (which is also installing the drivers right?)
it will only let me display 32 bit when i'm running 64 bit windows 7. This means crappy looking colors.
Also I've noticed considerably longer load times for the OS.
Any suggestions?

So..did you install the Catalyst drivers or not? Where did you get them from?

32 bits is the highest color depth, your colors will not look messed up if it's set to 32bit color depth. This has nothing to do with your 64bit Windows.

What is this shit?

i am also very disappointed i cant get 64bit color in my 64bit OS!!@ :mad:
 
well my computer for perfectly fine running windows 7 64 bit for several months with a nvidia card
but now it just doesnt look right i've even tried reformatting it only it see the same results.
Any chance it could be a problem with the hard drive? Picture is a bit choppy every now and then
and takes like 5-10 mins to load windows
 
The colors in your screen shot looks fine on my monitor (albeit a little compressed from image shack). Could you take a photo of the problem?
