MSI FX 5700 freezes in game....

The computer freezes anywhere from game startup to 45 minutes into any game. Tried new and old games with latest nVidia drivers and direct Xa/b. Suggestions?
Windows XP Pro all updates.

Sounds like something's overheating to me. Check and clean all of your fans.

This is a brand new system with a fan directly over the card slots.

I had a horrible experience with that thermaltake psu..... do yourself a favor and try a real psu by antec, enermax, pc power, etc.... thermaltake tech support was non-existant as well.

the PSU could be the problem. what makes you so sure it's not the PSU? i remember my friend solved his problem with his 9800XT freezing by upgrading his PSU.
