MSI CPU Guard 1151 Addresses Skylake Bending

If your CPU breaks due to bending you did something wrong. I know plenty of people who have broken something by accident in short they were not careful enough or made a mistake it happens. It is not the fault of the CPU.

Your ability to state the obvious is an amazing feat, well done.
But you dont appear to understand the issue and since you felt we should know, I'll assist.

People re-using their old heatsink may not be aware that it can exert more pressure than the new CPUs are specced for because they have a thinner substrate.
And the newer CPU sockets are not as sturdy as times past.
The combination allows the CPU substrate to bend when put under pressures that were previously ok, causing damage to the CPU.

Its not something most techies would consider.
You didnt.

Step 1: Create panic over a non-issue.
Step 2: Create a solution to said non-issue.
Step 3: Profit.
