How the fuck do I randomly make something like that, I'm not providing tracking number to confirm the shipment, that's the last thing I plan on doing.

Easy there fellow. Just to confirm, you ordered the MSI GeForce 8800GT OC from Dell on the 21st? Most of us didn't see a thread until the 24th... but if there was an earlier one, we obviously missed out on it.

No no it's cool, not asking for proof, just your word is enough. But was the MSI $208 back on the 21st? If so, nice shot man. We missed the boat by 3+ days... I'll assume at best my ship date is 3 days behind you... at best! If my assumptions are correct, most people ordered on the 24th, and got their hopes up that the cards were shipping earlier when you posted that. Just trying to keep everyone's expectations aligned!

After a few words with dell chat support, i got upgraded to Next day shipping free of charge :p, So ship date the 10th, Ship arive 11th! cant cant wait ! :D

Well some ppl do and how am I suppose to know if your one of those ppl. It looks somewhat legit now. Thats if you got the MSI for $207. If not its really no big deal that yours is shipped.
 
Just got finished with Dell support. My card was ordered on 11/27/07 and showed (and still shows) a ship date of 12/12/07. Since I want this by Christmas, I decided to see what Dell would say. Basically they have moved the ship date a week and now say it will be the 19th :( I'll keep the order but if I find another card this week, I'll cancel this one. Here's my chat transcript:

just used dell chat to speak to somebody about my msi 8800gt, they have none in stock, and do not know when they will get them in stock, they said they will know more next week if they will be able to fulfil the orders or not, and will update the status then, but they actually suggested i cancel !
 
I just canceled the order I placed on 11/28 a few minutes ago. They told me that it would be two weeks, or more, before the order ships.
 
I just canceled my order as well (placed on 11/24). I'm in no hurry and had no problem with the waiting, but I have a 3007wfp, so I figure I should try and buy an eVGA 8800 GT or g92 GTS instead so that I can hopefully step up to D9E if it truly comes out early next year. Mabye then I can actually run some of the newer games at resolutions close to 2560x1600...
 
just talked to a dell rep, i ordered on the 24th and the email i got said est ship date the 10th, now the rep said the 12th hope it actually does come
 
I don't really want to cancel because I opened a DPA for this deal. A hard pull on my credit for nothing would kind of suck.

are you type order of address in correct to place? maybe ship to card other not you.

my 3870 is arrive today, estimated 12/10, ordered on 11/21

Ending a sentence with "lol" is retarded, the 8800GTS 512MB is going for $400 right now, does it make sense to purchase the 8800GTS at that price, considering the performance comparison between the 8800GT?
