MSI 6950 flickering?

I know this issue has been discussed on this forum in the past, but none of the solutions discussed seems to make any difference to my issue.

Just bought this card and notice a strange flicker whenever there is flash based content on the screen. It's random when it happens, but when it does, its extremely noticable, even when you're not looking at the screen. This is what it is like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xcml45I2wTY

I emailed MSI about it, and I got a half assed reply in engrish/englandese saying something about disabling hardware acceleration in flash, but this made no difference either.

Probably a long shot, but does anyone have any ideas what the hell is going on with these cards?
 
Here's a list of what i'd do.
Disable gpu acceleration in Firefox.
Try other browsers see if theres any difference so you can pin point if its the card or just the acceleration.
If that doesn't work manualy set the frequency with afterburner or ccc to default frequency and check if they stay or go down to 2d mode/frequency when your playing videos.
if no dice, change monitor cable to second DVI on card to check if ones damage.

Also what version of Catalyst are you using ?
 
using latest drivers. tried all the different ports on the card, still the same. changing freqencies doesnt seem to make any difference either. tried the preset thing etc. the only thing I havn't tried, is dumping my bios, editing the clocks , then reflashing it. Can't try that yet either, as my system is currently in bits waiting for upgraded parts. In the mean time, if you could possibly point me towards a guide or something to flash my card with a modified bios, that would be most helpfull.
I'll give it a try next week once my system is up and running again.

On a side note, I had toyed with the idea of just selling the card and getting a 7850, but tbh, I'd like to try and solve this issue, as the card as more than adequite for my needs, i's just plagued by this issue as I watch a lot of videos on youtube.
