Hello,
Lenovo isn't offering any drives right now (supply problems I think) but my new T420s laptop has a slot that can be used for either a wwan or msata drive card. The intel 310 40gb msata drive supposedly works, but I was hoping for a little more capacity. The 80gb intel 310 would be better, but they're hard to find. Newegg hasn't had them in stock for a while now, and they cost exactly double the 40gb version which is a bit unfortunate.
Does anyone know of any other alternatives, or if maybe there are more msata drives coming out soon that I should wait for? This is a complete luxury for me since the t420s already uses lenovo's rapidboot methods to get boot times as low as 10 seconds, but I'm not planning on using a wwan card so putting an msata SSD in there is something I'd like to do eventually.
So, any ideas? I almost bought the $99 intel 410 but I'm pretty sure I'd be unhappy with the 40gb capacity. Thanks in advance.
