msata cache drive size?

I recently upgraded to a 2 TB hdd on my HP I7 Haswell laptop. It was a success.
This laptop has a 24GB LG msata ssd as a cache drive. Would there be further improvement If I installed a larger capacity msata cache drive, say a 64GB? The intel software only supports up to 64GB. Also is over provisioning needed on a cache ssd?

Thanks for any info....
