The security update on 7-8-08 MS KB951748 kills Zone Alarm. You can't log on Internet after installing this update. Zone Alarm and MS are aware of this problem and are working on a possible fix. It is recommended that you don't install this update until problem is fixed. This supposedly happens with Win 2000, XP, and Vista. I have intsalled updates on 2 XP SP3 machines omitting KB951748 and everything is fine. I installed this update on Vista Ultimate 32 with the latest version of Zone Alarm for Vista and have not had any problems. I used Add/Delete programs to remove this update and connected to the Internet suceesfully after removal.
