One of the springs/coils has snapped on one of the pedals - the brake pedal to be specific and it looks like this:

It does not look like the spring can be replaced so that does not leave me with much if that actually is the case. So, can anyone give me ideas of what I could do... or tell me where I can get... a spare set of pedals? :p etc, etc, etc.
