One of our non-profit societies has a secure folder setup for viewing speaker presentations. An email was sent out with the URL and user id/password. The linked url worked in the email last week, and now it doesn't. However, manually typing the address + deleting the history does work.

Has Outlook added its own information to the link? Are there other ways Outlook could have corrupted the link? Nothing seems out of place on the server, and no folders were overwritten, afaik.

I've sent the URL I manually typed in successfully to myself and tested that, and it appears to work just fine. The question now is, for how long?

Try disabling the firewall (to test).
It may be restricting Outlooks network access to the browser etc.

I'll try this at home, as only IT has control over the work computers. Good suggestion, thanks :)
