Wireless Desktop and the mouse and keyboard are a real pleasure. The mouse is so smooth and response time has been excellent. I have noticed 0 delay. I am however left handed and i surf right handed with the wireless mouse. The Ms mouse is superior to the Logtiec for surfing with its full page smooth scrolling and a unique tilt scroll wheel that allows left to right scrol bar operation with just a tilt of the wheel. Luxury baby.
The logitec is superior for gaming in every way if your right handed. I game left handed so I use a wired Logitec, hand neutrel Usb optical for that purpose. Logitec is the bomb for gaming.
So you see its a matter of preference. I chose the MS set for the keyboard as well. I have always used Ms Keyboards and I did not like the Logitec keyboad feel when I tried it.

I have a wireless Explorer 2.0 (with tilt wheel), and hate it. The scroll wheel doesn't click, and the tracking feels very sluggish. It is also heavy, mainly because of the 2 AA batteries used to power it. If you do any gaming at all, get the Logitech.

and the fact that the wheel moves effortlessly. These are the main reasons its a superior surfing mouse. I did say the Logitec was the superior mouse for gaming.
