My boss was complaining to me the other day because someone had sent him a file he couldn't open. It had a weird extension on it I didn't recognize and having been a PC user for over 20 years I've seen alot of extensions.

So I go online and find out the file was made with Microsoft Expression Design.

WTF?

I've never heard of this program. It's part of a whole suite of "Expression" software. Did they just buy it from someone?

Why someone would send a file like that out into the wild thinking anyone else could open it is beyond me. :rolleyes:
 
Yes, they bought it. Rumour has it that it partially made its way into that Flashesque thing they recently announced.

it is ok for ASP.NET 3 coding.

I preffer Visual Studio Express for that though ;)
