MS Access - Restricting Access to Certain Fields to certain users

Is this possible? I have a client asking if they can restrict a user to only a select number of fields in a database while others have full access, etc.

It is possible. But it might take a bit of work depending on what your client has already.

1) Create an employee table with the following fields: UserName, Password, AccessLvl
2) Create a custom log-in form that is linked to the employee table.
3) You can now check what access level the employee has and disable the required fields as needed on any form.

This explanation is a bit simplistic, but I hope you get the idea.
