I have a UFEI bios, and Win 7 64bit, but I cloned a drive with MPT so I can't get more than 2T out of my new drive. Is there an easy solution to this? Or do I need to image the drive and convert the drive to GUID (which I don't want to do unless I have to)?

Don't want to irritate, so only going to bump once. I guess so far the answer is no there isn't an easy solution.

I think you can go MBR -> GPT without reformatting on windows. That said, whenever you do any sort of drive manipulation, make sure you have a copy of everything on the drive backed up.

So far everything I have found on Microsoft's website says to delete all partitions and volumes before converting. I guess I will keep looking.

Shrink the MBR partition.
Create a GPT partition.
Copy the data over.
Delete the MBR partition
Expand the GPT partition.

Must be some software to do that.
