MPLS

What exactly are you looking for? How an MPLS works? Why you would need one? Where does one make the most sense?

MPLS is basically a specialized networking method. You can prioritze packet flow based on need.
We just switched to an MPLS network with Qwest and man does it kick some serious ass.
We also utilize the MPLS to do our VPN as the MPLS circuit is routed on our main router as just another subnet.

So we have 4 T1's for inernet and then 2 T1's (an actual 3mb connection from one site to another) utilize the MPLS network to our remote office in which also has the same 2 T1's MPLS and its lightning fast when copying documents/file sharing/etc.

If you want more info let me know and I can get you in contact with my guy at Qwest. They have a special on pricing for MPLS/Private ports through the end of the year I believe.

MPLS is normally hosted by your provider, this can have issues as any IP changes first need to be passed on to your ISP for them to impliment.

I may be wrong, if I am please correct me.
