Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Probably with v7 of the client. It is supposed to be 1 client to run all core types!. I would go and find the FF link but my folding rig has just decided to stop folding smp units so must trouble shoot. Once thats back working i'll post said link.
A date on v7 is "soon", in stanford terms that could mean anything from now to next year

Just an FYI for those itchy to swap - you can copy your queue.dat file, your work folder, and your config file somewhere, then uninstall the old program, make your folder with the new exe and copy over the queue, work, and config stuff, set up your shortcut and continue running where you were (if you were in the middle of a WU).
You can also remove the mpich2 service from the registry, it's under
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services, it will have it's own folder and subkeys.

The biggest benefit for me is being able to remove the user account password.
I don't really care about an extra service running in the background per se, I never notice it or anything - but I hate the password issues from time to time when you access shares pc to pc in Vista or 7 when accounts have the same name but some are passworded (f@h systems) and some aren't (non-f@h systems, or in this case - updated smp2 client f@h systems of which I have 2). My other 2 systems I still have to swap over and remove the user pw which is currently giving me a headache with Hamachi + HFM.net from work, because one of my home computers is not cooperating due to the pw credentials being entered wrong by accident or something.

I was just making sure there wasn't somthing I was missing. I need passwords on my network anyway, so the password requirement doesn't bother me
