MPEG4 converter

Handbrake?

It's got a number of presets for iPod video encoding. Make sure to read the directions / help files.

Handbrake or Videora. Both work, but Handbrake is more powerful and has more options.

I'm a fan of Staxrip. It's free and uses free programs to do it's job. If you don't have one of the utilities installed, it downloads it automatically *if* you need it for your project.

And also MediaCoder. These days there's no shortage of video converters for such purposes, the trick is finding one that's easy to understand that offers as close to a one-click-style conversion process, and so far I've never found one that simple even with ones that try to market themselves as such. So many options, so many settings... bleh.

If I were a coder I'd write the K.I.S.S. Converter where it would take like 3 steps: pick a source file, pick a target format, click Convert, done.

Why can't someone do that?

Have you looked at StaxRip? That is pretty much how it works. Granted, you do have to do a little setup to make it work that way, but it's not bad.

I have my templates setup, so I just pick what I'm encoding for, then pick the file I want to encode. There are options to customize the encoding process, but you don't have to.

ive been trying to change these mp3 video files to mp4 with no avail can somebody explain it?
