I suppose I shouldn't complain but I am curious.

Previously, when playing MP3s on this machine (P4 @3G w/HT using Terratec Space sound) I would get occasional crackling when multitasking (ie some action other than just the music playing). Now I have all my music uploaded to my new server and am streaming it to this machine. No cracks, snaps or pops.

Guesses?
