Mp3 Resampling Program

Im looking for a program that will go though, and resample all my mp3s to one rate, and normalize the volume, and possible digitally enchance them. I know musicmatch jukebox pro has a feature like that, but it only does it if youre sending files to an mp3 player, from what ive found. If anyone knows of any programs that would do this, i would greatly appreciate it.
 
DON'T do this, resampling an MP3 will decrease the quality, probably pretty immensly. Why do you want to do this in the first place? Also, normalization is similarly bad, as it is a lossy process that cannot be reversed.

Basically, what you are asking is a truly bad idea if you care at all what those mp3's sound like. It's like making a copy of a copy, and then cranking the contrast to the top to deal with decreased resolution and fidelity.
 
well, ive heard other things with resampling, i know what it is, and i know how it works. All my music takes up tons o space, 45 gigs, and well, its all 192 or above, and i wanted it to degrade to 128 and i didnt think that would kill the quality. And ive also noticed that the volume on a lot of my mp3s are varying, and its quit annoying when listening to constantly adjust the volume. However, if this truly will degrade my music's quality to the point where i can hear it easily. Then i guess is shouldnt do that
 
Well, I can't guarantee that you'll be able to hear a difference, as that depends on what hardware you have, and how sensitive your ears are. Needless to say, quality will drop precipitously if you do this.

If you want to even out the sound level, get replaygain. It comes standard with foobar2000, and there's a winamp plugin somewhere for it too. It's better than normalization, and it's fully reversible, so you don't have to worry about killing sound quality.

Anyways, 45GB of music ain't bad. I've got 200GB of Mp3's, and 51 GB of lossless stuff =]
