I am afraid that one of my older hard drives (which contains the Windows XP Pro operating system) is going to fail sometime in the near future. It has been making strange sounds lately. I currently have two hard drives in my system. One is the system hard drive that I suspect will fail, and another 160 GB harddrive that has been partitioned into 4 ways. One partition is strictly for page file while the rest are split and categorized for different apps (games, internet apps/entertainment apps, etc). I currently have one of these partitions completely empty at 20 GBs.
Is it possible for me to completely clone and move the system drive (which currently uses just over 12 GBs of space) information to this empty partition and continue to use my computer like normal (while removing the old hard drive)?
