Moving Windows partition to a different drive?

Hey all,

I have kind of a weird setup right now, and I need help since I've never done this before. I am currently dual booting Linux and Windows.

On my Raptor I have 1 partition: Windows boot
On my Seagate 160 gigabytes I have 2 partitions:
1) Windows data
2) Linux boot

I want to sell off my Raptor and move my Windows boot over to Seagate partition 1 (removing the data currently on there)

Is there a way to create a Windows boot sector for partition 1 on Seagate, move everything on my Windows boot drive over there, lose the raptor, and set up my bootloader to boot the new partition? I'm using LILO, though I could use Windows bootloader if necessary.

Please help! I don't want to hose my bootloader and be unable to boot Linux. Thanks :)

I’ve never used them myself, but it sounds like your going to need both Norton Ghost and Partition Magic to do all that!

Don’t quote me on this, but all you should need to do is:
1. Format "Windows data" so its nice and blank.
2. Use partition magic to shrink the partition on the raptor so it will fit in the same space as “Windows data”.
3. Make a ghost image from the raptor and apply it to "Windows data".
