All consumer editions of Win 7 come with WMP, and it's even a free download from MS. So why go through a protracted effort to move it?

I want to move it off my ssd to a bigger drive. Can i delete it off my ssd then and then download it to the other drive?

WMP is a trivial installation (around 7 MB on my Win7 x64 machine). I don't remember whether the WMP installer lets you decide the install folder, but you've got to have other installations that occupy more than 7 MB that can be moved off the SSD.

Yeah its not that much alone but when i put all the songs in there it starts to take up to much room.

Then just move the songs. Those should be stored in your Docs location, and Windows has the ability to move/remap that to another location -- ie: your larger HDD.
