Moving To PCI-E from an FX5900XT

[CEpeep]

As the title says, I want to move to PCI-Express. My current AGP card is an MSI FX5900XT and I'm looking for a PCI-E card that will give about the same performance for gaming. I figure I can get something similar for about $100. I've been looking at the Radeon X700 Pro. Would this be about equal to what I have now? Any advice/other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

I think a 6600 gt or 6800nu would suit you well. They will be noticeably faster than your current card and aren't terribly expensive. I think they are about $150 for 6600gt and about $180 for 6800nu. If thats too much the x700pro should be fine. Im just more familiar with the nvidia cards.
