Well, it's Christmas, and it's 2005, and I want a new computer. Going from what's in my sig to this:

All prices in Canadian dollars. I'm going to be overclocking. This will be my 3rd build for myself.
Is that a half-way decent system for the price? It sure seems like it, but it is a big amount of change I'm about to put down(I've been saving for about 8 months now).
I just don't know if I should wait it out until M2 or something. If I order soon, I can get in on whatever boxing day specials are left(I missed the $299 sale for the 7800GT CO SE, DAMNIT!)
Also, I'm hopping the 7800GT CO SE 460mhz can be overclocked 10 extra mhz to give me the same speed as the non-SE.
One thing that worries me though, is the harddrive. It is the cheapest 16MB cache harddrive I could find, but it's a Maxtor. I've had 2 Maxtors fail on me, while only 1 Western Digital fail on me. The difference between the Maxtor and the Western Digital is about $40, but that's $40 I'm not really willing to spend. Drawing from my own experiences, Maxtor really doesn't appeal as reliable to me. I hope that is not the case here.
