Moving from XFX black edition 285GTX to ?

What would the masses suggest to move from the XFX black edition 285gtx with a budget of about $250.00, working on a Intel Based system. Card has no issues, but looking to move up because I would like to move into a 30 inch monitor (dell based).

Thought about find a second XFX black edition 285gtx, but have not seen one for sale as of late.
 
At that price range, an HD 7850 for a new card. Otherwise you could find a used HD6970 (or unlocked HD6950) or GTX570.

You can clock this card to 1050 Mhz and have GTX 570 performance for much lesser power consumption :)
