About 1.5 years ago I said ok lets try water. I just ordered a swittech kit and installed it on my system. At that time a P4 system.
Well after not getting an answer from swiftech about the barbs on the cpu block (won't say more) I got 1 drop of water after 2 weeks and fried a then new 800 video card. Luck that was all mb still worked after replacement of video.

Ok I have decided with the size of the air coolers today to get decent temps I was going to go back to water.

One of the things in that setup I had before was a horizonal reservoir that was in a 5 /14 bay. I kept getting a whoosh sound about every 10-15 seconds.
I tilted the case, I turned the case upside down...no air in any lines or anything I could find but that sound was always there.

Going to buy parts and put this together.

I have seen the 5 1/4 and the little swiftech rectangular ones that stand upright with fittings and a baffle in the lower section of the acrylic box.

What reservoir is good and does size matter?
