I've been out of the loop here for some time now so bear with me.
I've been using watercooling for some time now and I just got a new 2500+ AXP chip. Previously I was using a 1800+. Because of the way my waterblock would fit onto the chip (never making full contact despite all my work to make sure it did) I always got slightly higher temperatures than I wanted. When I got my new 2500+ though, i had a leak issue and nearly fried my video card and sound card and the motherbaord is still yet to be determined. So needless to say, i'm a little fed up with the whole thing. I'd like to move back to a 'safer' method of cooling but my concern is that it's not possible to get the two things i wanted from watercooling to begin with, that being near absolute silence and a good overclock (i want to push the 2500+ to 2.2Ghz like everyone else). So is there an air solution out there that will give me the overclock i want, yielding average temps (40-45) and still be very quiet?? Thanks guys.
