moving a raid array from one mobo to another

I am looking into getting a DS3 or P5B DLX. I have a abit Is7-g with the Intel Raid drivers.

Is there anything I need to worry about when moving the raid array from one motherboard to another? Is there a specific procedure I should go through?

I am NOT booting off of this raid array, which should make things easier (hopefully).

any help is appreciated!
 
I can't speak to the exact mainboards you're looking at, but, in general the raid configuration is stored on the drives themselves. So moving them from one chipset to another identical chipset should work, even revisions within the same chipset should be ok. Going from an intel chipset to a promise or highpoint would probably not work.
