I guess its to separate the ______ men from the ______ boys. (fill in your favorites depending on if you're an AtiFanatic or Nvidiot)

BTW, I'm an Nvidiot as you can see from my 2 rigs in sig.

Seriously though, a lot of videocard threads even though they may be more about Nvidia or ATI per say, I'm sure the OP's might want input from both sides of the fence. Mods, are you guys OverModerating?

I try to move threads that are specific to one brand, such as driver questions, questions on operating temperatures, etc. I have left threads asking for input on what to buy in the root forum. Also, I left the sticky thread open for comments/suggestions, you are welcome to post them there.

You are correct that there may be threads that involve only one brand, but are still of "general interest" to the community as a whole. However, as Kyle pointed out, we are trying to keep the different camps on separate playgrounds as much as possible. Doing so is an effort to improve the experience for everyone, and reduce the number of opportunities that the fan-boys have to go at each other. We are also leaving redirects, so someone from the "other camp" can jump in if it's a topic they have something to say on.
