Wave Master just wasn't cutting it in terms of size. Just put all my stuff into a stacker and I love the thing. Can't wait to get my 5.25 bay res so I can put my watercooling system back in. Here it is, and please excuse the case condition... camera seems to pick up imperfections/smudges that I can't even see with my own eyes.

(Oh and excuse my desk, I don't take good care of the wood finish. Might get some new furniture soon.)

looks well accessorized. if those are the sunbeam controllers then i have the same thing in my tower back home. can't really comment on anything else though because it looks pretty stock aside from the drive bays.

what the hell is that in the top bay though and where did you get it? it looks like a lotta usb ports and i might have to get me one.

that is a cool case, i was also wondering what was in teh top drive bay, i want one for my shuttle xpc

that comes stock with all stacker cases, it is usb ports, firewire ports, and sound ports. Mind taking pics of the inside and also nice side panel cut.

HIs case isnt stock as far as the side panel goes folks....

so your saying that window is not stock  . I seem to see quite a few stackers with that exact same window, does the case come with a stencil or something? I just thought that was a stock window.

no that isnt the stock side panel as far as to my knowledge

pictures of stock stacker

It is still a nice case, that i may buy. Still debating between this and the chieftec full towers

what is that thing ontop of your monitor? it looks like the external power button

i think that is a touch button power thing like you said, webcam, or usb receiver for something wireless.

god damn dude, make me go work to prove a point stacker window . Like I said, seen way to many of the exact same window for that not to be premod

I said it wasnt a STOCK PANEL meaning that it came with the case. That is a aftermarket panel which you can buy seperately, so dont go rolling your eyes at me.

Yeah the panel doesn't come with the computer, but its a coolermaster accessory. As far as whats inside it, before I watercool it, I have the crossflow fan, an extra 3 in 4 which I took out, an assload of silent fans, and the LIS LCD.

To me that was indicating that you were saying he cut the window, why would you say nice cut to him if he bought it like that. And it is an option on stock case. So it comes in the box like that wich to me means stock ( stock - To keep for future sale or use. ). Be it as it may dont getting all pissy it was not meant as an insult.

well i unno that looks an awful lot like wireless keyboard/mouse reciever considering his keyboard and mouse are wireless

The thing on top of my monitor is for my wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I ditched the mouse for an MX1000 but the base station is hidden on the other side of the monitor. I keep the reciever on top of the monitor for the keyboard though.

i thought the reciever was different than that... hmph. my mistake

mind taking some pics of the inside with your fans mounted, I may purcahse the case myself, but I'm unsure of how many 120mm fans or how many fans it can hold out of teh box. I've read that you need a adapter to you the 120mm fans in the front. Just wanted to see if it was true

A 120mm fan comes attached to the included 3 in 4 adapater. It is essentially true that you can't mount 120mm intake fans, and with good reason; the whole front is a "stack" of 5.25 bays. However, each 3 in 4 adapter takes away the use of 3 of those bays and turns then into 4 hidden 3.5 bays. And each 3 in 4 adapter can have a fan attached to it for intake through the perforated drive covers... a great design choice by CM.

There is space on the back for 2 80mm fans and 120mm fan. There is space on the top for 1 80mm fan. And there is space on the stock side panel for another 80mm fan. Finally, the mobo tray is ready to mount a cross flow fan, and the motherboard side panel has holes in it to allow for fresh air to enter the crossflow fan.

The only problem I see with the Stacker case is they dont have the blue or black version for sale yet, and the fact that coolermaster didnt include more 120mm front fan mounts out of the box..

i was referring to the attachment they sell to make the cd rom bays into harddrive bays w/ 120mm fans. They include 1 front plate to use to mount a floppy externally.

The front plate is to mount a floppy INTERNALLY (front loading of course) either in one of the "4 in 3" slots or using an adapter you can buy that will turn one 5.25 bay into 3.5 bay to mount the floppy so you don't need to lose HD space.

Quick google search reveals many sites that sell 4 in 3 devices. Here is one. http://www.sundialmicro.com/cgi-bin/sundial/stb3t4e1.html?id=QCS4vSIo

Dunno if that site is any good but google for the item and you'll find more.

I like those coolermaster stackers... I was looking at the one referenced on newegg, but it was a tad too pricey since all I wanted it for was my home server. Ended up getting the much cheaper silver codegen server case.

Oh well, at least my wallet is thanking me :D

Sundial Micro is very good. They also have some of the best prices for Stacker accessories.
