Last night I had a LAN at my house. We found an old Gateway case in my attic, "G6-300", and it looked like ATX. It's huge. We moved my components into it. Works great, other than the fact that the power button wire is too short, and the hard drive cage doesn't fit right. The cage hangs on a rail. I don't know how to keep this cage from sliding back and forth. The bigger problem is that the cage doesn't fit. The 20 pin connector is in the way. Can somebody knowledgable in case modding look up this case, and devise an evil plot to make a hard drive bay taht I can mount on the front like a civilized being?Right now my 250's are lying connectors up on the bottom of the case. After this is done, I'll need advice in cutting a case window in pretty thick steel, and painting this beast. Thanks for the help.
