Move from 6870 CF to 7950?

Hey Guys,

Just wondering what the internets had to say about making this move? worth it? I run a U2711 and my setup seems to play all games just fine, with the odd hiccup here and there.

Or would it be better to go to a 7870/50 CF setup? Just seeing what the options are, and what you guys thought
 
I don't think you'd see much of a performance increase going to a single 7950. Going to a single 7970 you would Buy the Diamond one for $479 or get a used one on the FS/FT forum for $430.

I would never willingly jump into a mid-tier CF setup with all the current crossfire bugs on 12.3. Buy a powerful single card and reserve the option to upgrade later.
 
I might just sit on these 6870's for awhile longer then. The performance is great in BF3, just have to be careful with the image settings, ive got the upgrade itch again, but might be best to wait until the next round of cards
