hey all, I just looked on logitech's site for a newer version of mouseware that would take care of our scroll wheel gaming woes. To my surprise they realized the problem and fixed it! Also in the new mouseware, gone are the F-button selections in the settings for the buttons, now you can hit ANY key on the keyboardand have it programmed to that button. I gotta say, this really made my day knowing that I can now use all of the features on my mouse w/o any hang up or problem.

PS, that reg edit that was supposed to fix it in the old mouseware scroll wheel problem didn't work for me.

Just though I'd share if anyone didn't know, since I know there are a lot of MX users out there.

pbXassassinX1524, Glad you got it working & thx for letting us know what did/didn't work for you. I gave up on mouseware a long time ago & just go w/MS's generic mouse driver, which works well enough for me - no scroll wheel problems in games.

Nice to hear you got some problems fixed, but I have a Logitech Dual Optical and never had a mouse wheel problem(?).

Anyways, always nice to clear a problem, and thanks for the heads up.
