Hello hello,

So, I'm in the process of compiling my components for my new mobile audio rig. My intention is to take the bad boy here & there to do recording and performance. One of the issues, however, is overall footprint, and how I look when I use it(lol). My goal is to be able to operate this compy without a mouse. So what I need is something to replace that form of control for those times when I absolutely can't use keyboard shortcuts and whatnot.
Are there any keyboards out there that have a good touch pad, or any other kind of mouse-like input device that doesn't require the footprint necessary to using a mouse?
I will be using Windows.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
 
I can't remember the manufacturer name, or even how to search for it but... There was a mouse, that was basically like a ring.

You would slit it on your finger, your thumb would control mouse movement, and your index would control clickability. It was wired, and super small, comfortable. The wireless version was about the size of your palm, and I think was rockin bluetooth, not IR or Laser.


Hopefully that makes sense. Good searchin. OH, and I remember them being fairly cheap.
 
that sounds pretty rad... But I don't know how I'd begin to search for that, heh... Lets see how lucky I get on google...
Heh, I wish I could use my midi piano's mod stick to control my windows cursor, that'd be sweet.
 
you can get a logitech dinovo edge. The touchpad is decent on it. I use to have one of these before I replaced it with the Edge. If you are interested in the Adesso PM me with an offer. It is just sitting here doing nothing.

i have the same one linked on amazon....just a mini trackball.....feeled pretty cheap but it was small

heard theres a wireless version of that nowadays

anyways is the pad on the edge more like a laptop or is it different?
