i have a abit nf7s and a ibm optical mouse and everytime i turn off my computer i have to turn off the power suply so the red light on the mobo and the red light on the mouse turn off, because if i dont the next time i turn it on the mouse wont respond. any help?

hmm, i do know about the nf7-s issue with the mouse staying on, but i've never heard of the mouse not responding upon next boot. you could try disabling the feature that keeps the mouse on by using the jumper near the ps2 port (someone else give specifics).
