Mouse delay

I just installed a 2GB (2x1) Corsair 667MHz ram. Now when I play FPS games my mouse like when I move it to left there is kinda like a delay before it moves. And also when I move my guy (ASDW buttons) there is a delay too. Ne help? Anyone had this problem?

could it be my video card settings?

I have an ATI Radeon 200 Xpress 512MB (32-256 Onboard Ram changeable)
I set it at 256MB for optimal performance and changed all the settings to max.
 
if it was good earlier,I dnt know if thts the cause.

Are u sure nothing else changed?
 
my mouse is kind of laggy(takes about 0.5 -0.8 mileseconds) to respond when im playing fps and tps games. it's like having alot of mouse smoothing. should I system restore?
 
my mouse is USB and my keyboard is PS2. only my mouse lags.
it's like when you move your mouse left and right it stops for like 1-2 seconds.
the mouse smoothing was fixed it was my vid options now i don't kno about the mouse lag.
