really that important?

need to replace a saitek ecplipse (suprise) and a dodgy old logitech optical.

is it worth splashing out more on a new kb and mouse. my experience with the eclipse tells me not. 6 months til fubar. trying to locate the receipt.

so my question is this...should i just go for a solid cheap solution like the logitec ultra flat and an intellimouse or a g15/11 and an m518/razer deathadder
