This question has probably been beaten with a stick a hundred times but will there ever be this type of hardware for the 360?

Keyboard will only be used for chat purposes, not for gaming. Everyone gots to play with a gamepad.

why couldnt Microsoft port it. It would seem that it would be easy since they are the dev of the 360 and the PC operating system.

MS is to proud to let their xbox be know its a comp in a cheap box. So no keyboard/mouse for a while... and the point about it levels the play ground is mute.

Like you said, this has been beaten to death. let it die.

No kidding. As they've said, gamepad, and gamepad until the day the box doesn't sell any further. Don't like it? Join one of the many petitions.

I would take back a lot of the bullshit I talk about the system if they put it in. They do have a lot of FPS' but they lack proper tools to play them.

Solution: play FPS titles where they are meant to be played (or in the case of most XBox games, their point of origin): the PC!

FPS and 3rd person shooters are becoming huge on the consoles. Slow aiming on the joysticks ANNOY the hell out of me when I'm so used to quick aiming with the mouse and keyboard

I totally agree with Tek. That was one of the reasons for this post in the first place.

Well, stop buying shooters for consoles (especially PC ports) and they'll stop making them, so you won't have to deal with crappy gamepads for it. Complaining won't get you anywhere, because you will not get the X360 to allow you to use a KB+M for any game. Money always talks, in every case.
