How can I disable mouse acceleration in windows 7? Unchecking "enhance pointer precision" does nothing. Is there a "mouse fix" like there was for XP?
 
Turning off 'enhance pointer precision' should disable any mouse acceleration. Are you saying you notice no difference when the option is selected compared to when it is? If that's the case do you have any mouse/keyboard software installed like SetPoint that could be keeping acceleration on?
 
No, I don't have any software installed. I'm using a Logitech MX500, and when I go to logitech's website, it tells me that I don't need any software under windows 7. I'm just using the plug and play drivers windows 7 decided upon.

There is no difference with the box checked or unchecked. I'm not sure why.

EDIT: I just realized that this is only happening in game. I tested it on the desktop and there is no acceleration, but in game there is. WTF? I'm testing it on coutner strike (not source).

EDIT#2: I tested this in Coutner Strike Source and there is no acceleration. So only in regular coutnerstrike. Hmmm.

RESOLVED: After some searching online, I found that I had to add "-noforcemparms -noforcemspd -noforcemaccel" to the launch properties of the game.
